It has to do with coffee cups. Anybody who has a wife, girlfriend, (shit, just to be PC, errr, partners!) have seen these fuckers in the cupboard.
Has to to with coffee cups. They always say some sappy shit! ie: Have a good day!, Sunshine makes the clouds go away!, I love you!, and the one I used this morning, "May love fill our hearts,,,," with a bunch of fuckin flowers all over it!
When I get up, I need, (now not need in the trivial sense but NEED in the very serious sense!) a cup of Joe, strong as hell, full of caffiene to get the old heart started and the brain functioning again.
The last thing I need is some sappy shit about how great life is.
Why don't they get cups that are black with no funny, stupid ass quips on them or at least say something like, "Just remember, the difference between a man who drinks and the non-drinker is that after this cup of coffee, the non-drinker isn't going to feel any better but the drinker realizes the day is gonna get better or he is just gonna die!"
Coffee actually does not taste that good, but is has its place and the place is not for some sappy crappy housewife to trade stories with their neighbor about how fucked up the old man was in bed the night before but moreover give us, the hard drinking, hard working stiffs a reason to go get in that car, truck, whatever and do it over and over and over.
Anybody have any ideas on what they would like to see, if, in fact they can see before the first cup, on their morning coffee cup?
Mine would be, "Thank you for turning the water to wine and moreover thank you for turning it into coffee the next day. For that,I owe you!"
